Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Account & Email Setup
1. Can I create multiple accounts or sell multiple businesses using the same email address?
A: Each seller account on our platform is tied to one unique email address and is designed for one active business listing.
However, if you are using a Gmail or Yahoo email address, you do not need to register a brand-new email account to sell a second or third business! You can easily create an extra account by adding +1, +2, or +3 before the @ symbol in your current email address (for example: yourname+1@gmail.com).
Our system will recognize this as a separate account for your additional business listing, while all buyer inquiries, welcome letters, and notifications will still arrive directly in your primary inbox.
Pricing, Free Trial, Cancellations & Refunds
2. How does the 1-Month Free Trial work?
A: Every seller enjoys 4 weeks completely free for their first business listing under our Weekly Momentum plan. Charges of $11 AUD + GST per week will only begin in the 5th week. Credit card details are collected upfront upon sign-up, but you are free to cancel at any time.
3. If I cancel my listing during the 4-week free trial, can I use the remaining free days later?
A: The 4-week free trial is a one-time benefit per user for their first listing. If you choose to cancel or withdraw your listing before the 4 weeks are over, any unused days will expire. If you decide to republish or reactivate your listing later, standard billing ($11 AUD + GST/week) will apply immediately.
4. What is the difference between Weekly Momentum and Quarterly Momentum?
Weekly Momentum ($11 + GST / week): Standard advertising listing with the first 4 weeks free.
Quarterly Momentum ($132 + GST / quarter): Includes standard advertising plus full access to our Seller’s Navigation Kit (frequently updated expert guidance) and direct email support with a guaranteed response within one business day.
5. Do you offer refunds if I cancel my subscription early or sell my business before the period ends?
A: No. We do not offer a refund policy. Whatever package you choose and pay for is final. For example, if you purchase the Quarterly Momentum plan but sell your business after only one week or one month, you will not receive a refund for the remaining unused period.
Registration & Logging In
6. How do I sign up as a seller?
A: Click Sign Up in the top navigation bar, then select Register. Fill in your name, email, phone number, and ensure “Seller” is selected as your account type. Choose your state/territory and enter your postcode. Finally, check both agreement toggles (changing them from grey to black) and click Register.
7. What should I do if I forget my password?
A: Simply go to the Sign-In page, click “Lost password”, and check your email for a password reset link.
4. Creating & Managing Your Business Listing
8. How do I create and publish my listing after setting up my account?
A: Go to your dashboard, click Add Listing, and select your chosen plan. Enter a clear listing title, add your description, choose your category (e.g., Food, Beverage, & Hospitality for a café), set your price, and specify your suburb/city. Upload a clear, un-watermarked photo (under 20 MB), set the inquiry option to “Yes”, and click Go.
9. How do I edit, upgrade, or remove my listing?
A: Log into your dashboard and click My Listing. Next to each active listing, you will see three options:
Edit: Modify your listing details or description.
Change Package: Upgrade from Weekly Momentum to Quarterly Momentum.
Delete: Remove your listing if your business has been sold or withdrawn.
Inquiries, Free Educational Resources & Professional Advice
10. How do I handle incoming buyer inquiries?
A: When a potential buyer submits an inquiry form on your listing, you will receive their details via email. We strongly recommend ensuring the buyer signs a Non-Disclosure Confidentiality Agreement (NDA) form before sharing confidential financial or operational information, and kindly remind them not to disrupt your daily business operations.
11. Should I sign a confidentiality agreement before contacting the seller as a buyer?
A: Yes. To protect the seller’s business privacy, you should complete the Non-Disclosure Confidentiality Agreement (NDA) before initiating contact or receiving sensitive information. Once you have signed the agreement and obtained the seller’s contact details, you may reach out to them directly. If the seller does not answer your call, please send a text message informing them of the most convenient time for you to connect.
12. Where can I access the free seller guides and templates?
A: You can download Alice Wu’s complimentary audiobooks (From Business Operator to the Art of Life and For Sale by Owner Practical Guide) directly on our homepage below the search bar. Simply enter your email beneath the section, click “Get Course Now”, and then click the black banner labelled “Go to the Course” to access free audio files, PDFs, and practical templates (such as Cash Flow Forecasts, NDA forms, Asset Lists, and Letters of Offer).
13. Does this platform charge a brokerage fee or commission?
A: No. Our platform is strictly an advertising service for business listings, and we do not charge any brokerage fees or commissions. You only pay the advertising platform fee. If you require a business broker to manage the sale of your business, this is a separate service. If you would like to appoint me as your broker and I have the availability, we will sign a formal brokerage agreement, and fees will be paid as specified in that contract upon the successful sale of your business. If we do not enter into a formal brokerage agreement, any general assistance I provide to you in answering your questions is completely free of charge.
14. Can I seek financial and legal advice from you regarding my business sale?
A: No. We are not qualified lawyers or accountants, and we do not offer accounting or legal advice. For professional advice regarding your business sale, please consult with a professional lawyer or accountant.
Live Q&A Sessions & Support
15. How can I ask questions or get additional support?
A: During our launch month, Founder Alice Wu hosts Live Zoom Q&A sessions Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (AEST). After the first month, these live Q&A sessions will continue every Monday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (AEST).
